I feel so alone right now. Like I'm trapped behind glass. Cut off. I can't do all the work. The Catch-22. If I don't do the work and try to connect, I end up by myself and feeling like this. But, ultimately, if you have to do all the work to maintain, then what kind of friendship is it? Is it even worth saving?

on 2008-08-27 04:27 am (UTC)I know some of my isolation is by choice, but also I need to step up to the plate some too and even when I do, the other person needs to do the same.

on 2008-08-27 04:36 pm (UTC)Catch 22s suck. With friendships, if you're finding it just as stressful to maintain as it is to feel alone, that right there may point to your answer.

Just dis-identify man. >;)
