Balancing on one wounded wing

 Prussian Blue undercoat, Light Sky Blue base coat, then medium mixed with Napthol Crimson and Prussian Blue.

This one was for mason5280   Took the colour palette from his native Colorado: Blue for skies, white for snow and brown for the mountains



This one was for giamedin    Bright red at the base, then ox-blood red over it, then burnt umber and silver on top.

This one came from a desire to do another black and white piece. The texture doesn't have quite the flow I would like, but the effect is still kinda cool

Not the best name for it, but it was what stuck when I was doing it.  Yellow, bright copper and burnt umber:

This one started out in colours, but just never came together. So I whited the whole thing out with gesso and titanium white, then hit the texture with iridescent white and a hint of interference blue. Like it much better now

This one is going to be a gift to an old friend for her new house, Two shades of dark purple for the background, and a pure pearl colour for the textures. Originally just had the sections on the sides, but the middle looked too empty. So I went back and added the middle section.

Total ripoff of one of the masters, I know, but I really wanted to see how that sort of design would look in my textured style
