Well, that turned out to be a good day. At work, I got a call that my laptop was back. Picked it up after work. New battery, new optical drive and new CPU fan, all covered by warranty. My baby is quiet and in excellent running order  :)

Then when I got home, I found that my and zero_gravity's contributor copies of Desolate Places had arrived  :) It looks really nice. And there's my name again. In print. My story where people can read it.

And there was a double header of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles tonight (downside was that it was a cliffhanger and it was the season ender)

But that's small compared to everything else. This was one of those days that you remember when things go badly, to keep you going through everything else  :)
