Auld Lang Syne.

Was a quiet night last night, at least the later portion of it (the juicy details have been posted to my more "intimate" filter. If you can't see it and want to, let me know and I'll add you to the filter)
Watched the first few episodes of Alias, which I missed first time around, as the concept seemed lame to me. How wrong I was. Jennifer Garner was totally badass as Sydney. Eager to see more.
So, watched that, with a glass or two of wine. The old year slipped into the new, quietly and easily.
Today I hung out with the most recent "ex" who I am talking to again (Once more, the deets are under the filter in the previous post) We've managed to put all the crap behind us and move on. It's nice. I'm cool with the fact that it will never be more than friends (with benefits sometimes). Our respective baggage has been untangled. And we can just relax and enjoy each other's company.
Then I got home and just wanted to watch some TV and my idiot roommate was plastered in front of the TV where he always is when I get home. He's a nice guy, but for god's sake. He's never not home. Every day I get home and he's here. He never goes anywhere, sees anyone. Has no hobbies or interests beyond his computer or the TV. It drive me bonkers sometimes. The only time I ever have to myself in the flat is when I am home sick or on vacation. Or the two hours on Saturday afternoon when he goes shopping.
So, I've been listening to music and reading. Bought the new Supreme Beings of Leisure CD, 11i, and it's great!
And I have to work in the morning, not that I expect many people will be calling, but, whatever.
Dinner with someone I met on 411 after work and then my photoshoot on Saturday morning. So. Freakin. Excited. And terrified. His work is amazing. Can't wait to see the results.
Hope you all had a lovely new year's eve and day
