chronicpaintI had a dream last night, I was at Pride (which wasn't really Pride, but in the context of the dream it was) and I was sitting with this guy I know that I had a crush on (but got politely shot down) The thing is, even though in the dream, I "knew" it was him, he looked and acted completely different.
And it reminded me of something I wanted to post a couple of weeks ago but forgot to. In dream, where do those random faces come from? I mean, I didn't recognize the face that this guy was wearing in the dream. I'm always curious how our brains concoct these people. Was that face just some random guy I had seen somewhere in real life and pasted his features on crush-guy? Did my brain actually construct a face from pieces of other men's faces? Is my subconscious creating characters of its own?
I mean, I don't actually remember the face other than to remember that I "knew" it was this guy, and that I didn't actually recognize the face from my waking world.
Though, he was actually quite sweet and tender (which is how I knew it wasn't actually crush-guy). If he's somewhere in the real world, maybe I can get my subconscious to find him for me ;)
