1. I set off airport metal detectors
2. I'd give anything to be able to dance again
3. I think reality TV is a sign of the death of civilization
4. The exception to the previous is So You Think You Can Dance.
5. I still love comics, though not as much as when I was younger. I think they taught me what it means to try to be better than you are, to place something above your own needs.
6. No one is more amazed than me that I found the strength to beat cancer.
7. If I could do anything I would paint and write all day long
8. I once appeared in the Canadian Premiere of the play, Noises Off. I even was on CBC news because of it.
9. I miss acting sometimes.
10. I lost my virginity at 15
11. I am a perfect Kinsey 6. I have never known a woman in the biblical sense
12. I love musicals. Favourites are Wicked, Dreamgirls, Rent and Mame
13. I am completely obsessed with the new version of Doctor Who and it's offshoots, Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures
14. I love good Science Fiction and have sold three science fiction stories. I have written three science fiction novels that never sold and am working on another.
15. Other than my housemate, I have a strict rule about my space: no plants, no pets, no kids. Nothing I need to take care of. Only exception is the bamboo I have on my desk at work and I had to put a reminder in my Outlook calendar to change the water regularly.
16. Most of the men that others find attractive leave me totally cold. I like distinctive, unusual looking men. Stereotypically handsome guys tend to leave me cold.
17. I have no real type. Men that have attracted me have been tall, short, fair, dark, tall, short, heavy or thin. It's the person, not the type for me.
18. That being said, some types that do catch my eye are Indian men, Redheads or dark middle eastern looking men. I also like em furry.
19. I miss my family very much. I wish that I could have the life I enjoy here, back closer to them.
20. I love being in Toronto. I love the ethnicities, the lights, the noise, the food, the art and the energy.
21. I have spent most of my life single, and I am gradually getting used to it. I was always a lone wolf when I was younger.
22. I go out of my way to be as nice to people as possible. I believe that we are all in this together, and we have to help each other through it.
23. The intense fascination people have with cell phones and smart phones disturbs me. That deeply intense conversation you are having about your personal life? I don't need to hear it. And as for tippy tapping on your blackberry all day long? Look up and see the world around you for a change. I think we already have way too many ways to close us off from other people. We don't need any more.
24. My friends are my life. I love them with every fibre of my being. And I give my love my trust and my friendship freely. I feel there is nothing for me to lose. If the person proves to be unworthy of that love, then it's their loss, not mine. There will be someone else along who deserves it and will give it back. I believe in a quote I once heard. "The man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken."
25. I believe there is something greater than the physical world. I don't know what it is, whether it's God or The Force or what, but I believe we are more than flesh. I believe we exist beyond what we are. But I don't think it created us, I think it's somehow more symbiotic. That it created us, but we created it as well. We are an expression of it, but we also keep it going. The closest thing I have ever found to expressing what I feel is Taoism.

Every time Mary shrieks about the Hot Tamale Train, God makes another angel!

*giggle*

I ADORE So You Think You Can Dance.

It is a secret shame we share.

YAY!

PS "Now where'd I put them sardines?"
