this is the only star trek movie i am not excited about. But I don't like the work of jj abrams..i think lost is horrible and i'm not excited about another prequel. I would've preferred seeing Bryan Singer's or J. Michael Straczynsk's vision for a reboot / retool of the franchise.

I didn't watch Lost or Alias, but I really enjoyed Mission Impossible 3. He totally got what was missing from the two previous films and fixed it.

So, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt
