I got kissed. By a boy.

Last night at my weekly writing get-together with clockworkzero, we ran into this guy that we met there at the cafe two weeks ago, who struck up a conversation. Then, he had asked her about her NEC mini writing computer, so I just sort of figured he was some straight guy hitting on her.

Well, turns out, he was interested in me.

Last night, he was there and, apparently, was pumping her for information about me before I arrived. Seems that words like the words "Intelligent" "handsome" and "articulate" were tossed around. And not from Zero.

So, as it turned out, no writing got done, but much good conversation was had, and at one point, when Zero went to the loo, I bit the bullet and said we should do something. He agreed.

Then, when we all finally left, Zero gave him the European double cheek kiss and I got lips on lips. Close mouthed and chaste, but lips nonetheless.

I'm slightly flummoxed and flabbergasted, not to mention, possibly a bit twitterpated. I find him quite attractive. It just sort of never entered my mind he'd be interested in me. The old baggage strikes again.

So, it would seem, I still have my mojo. I'm just not terribly aware of the instances when it's actually working  ;)

Oh, and we emailed back and forth last night. Plans will be made.
