Breathing again
I have neglected you, my LJ faithful. *sound of crickets chirping* Helloo? Anyone out there?
Anyway, spent the weekend laid up with a cold. Took Friday off and then Monday too. My sick days reset at the beginning of the year, so I figured this was what they're for. So, I laid on the couch, watched TV, drank juice and downloaded p0rn ;)

earthmonkey69 's birthday party and monkeyman 's play reading. I am a bad friend ;)
I did at one point, spend some time with this guy I have been chatting and MSNing with. He's a foot fetishist and apparently, I have really cute feet. Who knew?
Monday, I started a new painting. Then I watched more episodes of New Avengers (it's hard reconciling Purdey/Joanna Lumley and Patsy Stone/Joanna Lumley) and two movies from the late 80's: Kiss Shot, with Whoopi Goldberg as a single mother making money playing pool and Outrageous Fortune, with Bette Midler and Shelley Long. The latter made me remember how much I love those late 80's outlandish, semi screwball comedies. Stuff like Secret of My Success or Ruthless People.
Work has been whoreanus this week. People sick, irate jerks calling in. I'm glad the week is almost over. Tomorrow night is movie night withtorontomame , Saturday is off to a movie with the foot guy, who is quite fun to spend time with, then Sunday evening with my friend, I.
So, I am not dead. I have not abandoned you. I shall endeavour to have something interesting to tell you soon :)
